Mill Pond Fest- Yes, she is on her very first solo ride;). She loved the horse...not at first, but by the end, she was jumping up and down wanting it to go faster. (poor pony...such a sad ride).
We went and played at the mill pond. The two swan that you see in the pics were following her wherever she went. She loved it! She kept on "quacking" at them.

Heston Steam Show: Papa always takes the kids on their first train ride. She was such a good girl. Usually loud noises freak her out, but she didn't get scared at all. She had fun!
Little Miss Smarty-Pants figured out that she can move the computer chair all around the house in order to reach things. Pretty quick little one...I'm in trouble!

Guse's Christmas Tree Farm, Cam and Jac's Bday party!!! Climbing to the top of the hay bails with Daddy and Jaclyn. She had so much fun playing in the corn! Daddy, you look funny!

She's a shoe girl;).
She's officially a year and a half now. Getting smarter and smarter...amazing me with the things she knows. Celebrated Daddy's birthday on the 22nd by learning how to sing Happy Birthday...she actually does a pretty decent job at it. She's always singing something though. Still climbing on EVERYTHING...and jumping off of everything with no fear...just getting smarter about moving things over to climb on them...often find her sitting on the table or in the window sill. Crazy kid! She still loves the outdoors, and as of today can open Grandma and Papa's screen door to get out on her own...thank God for locks! I think they were invented to keep kids in...not bad guys out...lol. Anyway, she is very stubborn and only does things when she is ready...no pushing that one. And if she really wants something, she will get it. Strong-willed!!! She is getting pretty good at saying "please" and "thank you" for things. Her vocabulary is getting stronger. My patience is often tested...quite the button pusher...but man do I love her! Blessed doesn't even begin to describe the feeling I get when I look at her...or when she hugs me or kisses me for no reason. Time is going sooo fast!

Oh my how Brooklin has grown!!!!! I have to say my favorite picture is the one of her from the back with her darling little curls, (looking at the swan)...Would be beautiful blown up (or even in black and white)LOOOOOOOVED the update Jacki, keep up the good work!

it was great seeing you on Tuesday!!!! Awesome that I got to finally see Brooklin in REAL life since the last time when she was much much smaller..haha She is growing up so fast, but you're doing an awesome job...she loves you so much and it's obvious you love her tons, too! love the pic of her with grandpa..now when spring rolls back around i'd love to see one of them each with a pushmower in hand...that would be fantastic. Love that she went to the mill pond and enjoyed everything that had to offer :-) oooohhh "save our pond" days...how fun! Anyhow...great job with updating the blog...can't wait for the next one? Perhaps around Christmas time?? I think that'll be a good time to update it, but PLEASE feel free to update it in your spare time of being full time mommy AND full time college student! Really though, you're doing awesome!
